I bought 2 streaming sticks and need the green adapter to put them on my tvs. I ordered Ed them like instructions said the response was will be 6 weeks before they ship. Has anyone found a substitute that will work. I will take them back to Walmart before I wait that long.
First, it's an HDMI extender cable, not Internet. It's nothing special. These would work:

In my not so humble opinion, they should just include the **bleep** things with their Streaming Stick products in the first place.
But that having been said, there's nothing special about the Roku HDMI extender, it's just a short (4 inches or so) HDMI extension cord with an HDMI plug at one end and an HDMI socket at the other. I use one several feet long to locate my Streaming Stick 4K+ in an equipment closet on the other side of the wall from my TV. You may be able to find an HDMI extension locally or at a non-Roku online vendor and get one a lot faster than waiting for Roku to process your order and ship it to you. Or use a female-to-female HDMI connector to connect your Roku Stick to a regular (non-extension) HDMI cord.
Or a right angle bend (90 or 270 degrees, can be tricky to work out which your TV needs). There are also adapters which flex between 90 and 180 which might be a good fit for the problem
