Having this exact problem but it seems no solution was found so I guess I’m just out a 70 inch tv that’s less than 2 years old 🤬

How about get another remote? There are several inexpensive remotes that should work
Use the reset on the tv itself. Remove the battery cover and look for a reset button there. Check settings for device connectivity.
