Please, everyone. Don't post that link code here. There's nothing anyone here on the forum can do with it. The forum moderators can't do anything with it. Use the web link that @renojim posted directly above this post (https://my.roku.com/link) and enter it there. Make sure you've logged into your Roku user account.

It depends on your Roku. If it's still using the old method of linking to your account, it will display the code on your TV screen. You enter that link in your Roku user account at https://my.roku.com/link. Make absolutely certain you go to that page, and not one suggested by your internet browser. That's how the scammers can intercept your link attempt.
If it's using the new method, there is no code. You enter your Roku account email address into the Roku using the remote, and you receive an email with a link to a web page that completes the process.
Everyone: please don't enter the code here in the forum. No one here can do anything with that. You enter the code on the Roku user web site: https://my.roku.com/link and no where else.
@RokuDanny-R could you perhaps rename this thread so people don't misunderstand the subject line?
You activate your device by one of two methods, depending on the software the Roku has. If it gives you a code on screen, you must enter that code at https://my.roku.com/link. Don't post it here, that doesn't do anything.
If it asks you for an email address, you enter the email you use for your Roku user account. You then get an email with a web link that completes the registration.

@REM1 don't post it here. This thread is wrongly named. That code is for entering on the Roku web site, not posting here. When you are activating a new Roku device that wants you to enter the code, you go to https://my.roku.com/link and enter it there. Make absolutely certain you go to that web site. Don't start typing the address and accepting a suggestion from your browser. Those suggestions almost always take you to a scam site, not the genuine Roku web page.
