I've just switched to a Sofabaton X1S. It has a great feature of accessing a number of the channels on my Roku: Netflix, Amazon, YouTube. However, it does not seem to access the Roku Channel, which surprises me, since I'd expect Roku to provide access to their channel. Anyone have a work-around?
If you have Roku remote with Roku Ch as one of the four discrete channels at the bottom of the remote, my most recent Roku Voice Pro 2 remote has it. Unplugging the Roku this remote is paired to from power switches keys to IR. Then universal remote with learning function could be taught the Roku Ch command.
Another way is to get a cheap UEI made universal remote with Roku code 03061 or 3061 on board. Then it will give access to advanced codes or EFC's these are 5-digit codes for individual functions like Roku CH, which is code 00118. Check best buy for open box Insignia remotes like this:

I love the idea of the Roku channel button on the Roku remote. Sadly, and surprisingly, that is not one of the channel. I will try the cheap remote idea.
The directions to map efc to key on UEI remote are:
1. stream or whatever device key you use
2. press and hold SETUP for two blinks, release
3. enter 03061 or 3061
1. stream
2. press and hold for two blinks, release
3. enter 9 9 4
4. tap SETUP for one blink, release
5. enter 0 0 1 1 8
6. pick a key, it should blink twice. If it doesn't you might have chosen a key that can't accept efc's, chose a different key?
