So every time I put the code that's on the TV after resetting it and resetting it I keep getting this. The link you entered is not valid no matter how many times I change the code it says the same thing. This is a used Roku that a friend gave me but I have factory reset it I can't get past the link to activate it keeps telling me the same thing that I've been in the wrong code and I tried all the code that can give me reset them time and time again.

Any Roku model old enough to only use that abandoned activation method is long discontinued and is no longer being supported by Roku. And even if you could activate it, it would be too old and slow, too low in memory, and lacking features today's streaming apps rely on to be of much use anyway.
Do you know the 4-digit model number? Roku hasn’t used that method of linking in years. I would assume that any still-supported model has been updated to the new method.
