The app remote is not compatible with standard remotes. If you download the app the remotes won't work even when I tried to repair them. Turned everything off, unplugged, even my router, put new batteries in, uninstalled the Roku app from phone, even turned off phone. Plugged back in, turned all back on, at least ONE remote works. Broke the other remote because I was so frustrated. I will NEVER try to install the app again. You guys at Roku need to hire some REAL engineers to figure this stuff out.

Let's start by double-checking if you have downloaded the Official Roku Mobile App from the app store.

After that, please try the following fixes below:

1. Go to Settings > Apps > Google Play Store
2. Select Storage & Cache and tap on Clear Cache
