Roku iOS App Ads/ White Bar in Device Tab

What is going on? At first I see a huge mobile ad banner at the bottom of the Roku App in the device tab. Then, I sign in and now there’s a giant white bar at the top that gets larger when you scroll.

Re: Roku iOS App Ads/ White Bar in Device Tab

Took me a while on how to post a pic. I have discovered that mobile site doesn't give you that option. You can see the giant white bar at the top of the screen. It gets bigger if I scroll through the devices.  Also, it is almost impossible to see on this site with a white background....

Re: Roku iOS App Ads/ White Bar in Device Tab

Thank you, but I understand how to upload pictures to a forum. I don't know what the problem was. But when I clicked on insert photo the screen to simply upload a photo was not popping up. Instead, it was the Insert link option. I thought it was a little weird that the photo upload would be that complex. I am reuploading the photo as the photo button is now working as intended. IMG_1119.jpg

Re: Roku iOS App Ads/ White Bar in Device Tab

Hi @TheBig_D,

Thanks for the response!

Thank you for sending the requested photo. We appreciate your cooperation.

We would like to follow up and ask if you have had the chance to try the troubleshooting steps we previously suggested. If you have carried out those steps and are still experiencing the issue, please try the following:

  1. Try to restart the internet connection of your phone.
  2. Restart your mobile device.
  3. Please consider using a different mobile device to download the Roku mobile app.
  4. After installing the app, log in using the same Roku account credentials you currently use. This will help us determine if the problem continues to occur on another device.

We recommend you try these troubleshooting steps, and please let us know if the issue persists.

Regard,
Riamie

1 & 2 are the same: Restarted device nothing changed.

3. I downloaded the Roku app on an android phone to test, the white bar is absent.

4. See number 3.
