I'm confused on how removing a feature is enhancing the user experience. Can Roku just admit that they removed this option? I used to set my tablet up in the kitchen and continue watching my shows while I would bake but this is no longer an option which is very disheartening
I do not understand how this policy is helping to streamline anything?! This does not make any sense at all. We had a really bad thing happen and our TV was broken during a tragedy....after things have starred to get back to normal (as they can be) we wanted to try and watch some of our favorite shows like I was used to being able to do through the app. We cannot afford another tv and I am so insanely disappointed with Roku's decision to take this feature away.
Your suggestion DOES NOT WORK. Why am I paying for this and can’t watch anything on my phone?!
I watched about thirty minutes of a movie then it cut off and won’t let me watch anything unless I connect to a Roku device
Thanks for posting here in the Roku Community, @JayKfry!
We appreciate you reaching out to us about this. We're here to take a closer look at your concern.
May we know if this is happening on all contents inside the app? Also, on what device is your Roku app installed?
Let us know more about it, and get back to us!
Best,
The Roku Community Team
