Below is a compiled list of two-digit serial-to-model numbers that cover known Roku boxes; no TVs or sound bars. The list is neither complete or 100% accurate, but it's an improvement to what has been posted online in the past.
A more accurate list would have included three-digit serial numbers, but that makes the list much longer and more confusing. At the bottom of the list are the links to both Roku's hardware specifications and the Roku Wiki page for additional information on each model.

YJ - Roku Ultra - 4670RW
Confirming all 3 of my 2019 Roku Ultras (4670X) begin with "YJ"
And, my Roku Streaming Stick (3800X) says "CT" the stick itself, but "YF" in my Roku profile (?)
cannot locate model number for serial number YG00ET896438,,,and in the roku device could not identify any model number
Hi @cymcmiller
Thanks for the post.
The model number for your Roku device YG00ET896438 is Express (3900X). You can always navigate to Settings > System > About to view details about your player.
I hope this helps!
All the best,
Kariza
The list was very helpful. I found all but one. It starts with X00400UVR4
Other then that looks like there is a deal for me to get 2 Roku replacements at a reasonable price. Hopefully it will improve the reception with the upgrade in those areas.
Hello,
I do need My Roku TV model number to download a firmware / software update
I cant access the settings since my TV wont start
Please help
TVs work quite a bit different from Roku's own streaming devices, especially when it comes to serial numbers. Here are a few things to consider.
First, the model number and serial number should be on a sticker applied to the back (sometimes bottom) of all manufacturers televisions. These tags unfortunately DO NOT supply the information of which Roku streamer version is internally integrated with the TV and online documentation from manufacturers is sadly fairly ignorant.
Second, forums like these can only function with information. There's virtually nothing we can do without a brand name and model number of the device in question. As an analogy, it's like asking for spark plugs for your car and not knowing anything out it. As a footnote, when selling or servicing anything you own, please go out of your way to provide a model number, part number, or the first 10 digits of a vehicles VIN. When proved, items sell faster and for more money, and you're far less likely to be taken advantage of when service or repairs are involved.
Third, if you can't access the settings since my TV wont start, a firmware upgrade is out of the question anyway.
We suggest you find the model number and post it with additional detailed information on how the TV won't start, and create a complete new post so to receive far more attention from the Roku community. We're interested to see what you post!
I can't find what kind of Roku I have My serial number is 2N00GX582612 so what kind would it be
