Can I upgrade M1001 to WPA2?
Experts -
Does anyone have a solution for upgrading M1001 streamers to use the WPA2 protocol? My mesh router just died - and my three (3) M1001s won't connect to the replacement, which does not support WEP.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

From what I can tell, the Soundbridge was discontinued back in 2008. I assume it is long out of support.

If your mesh router has a IOT (Internet of things) or guest mode, you could possibly try connecting the devices using those as a separate network with lesser security protocols. Being a really old device it is a long shot, but I have had older devices (not these) successfully connect when they struggled with the main mesh network.

Re: Can I upgrade M1001 to WPA2?
I had to look up the M1001, and see now it was the Soundbridge audio streamer. No, it cannot be upgraded in any way. That device is getting close to 20 years old, and it simply will not support modern protocols and there no way to update it.
