CONVERTING EXISTING CHANNEL WITH DIRECT PUBLISHER

Just wondering how smoothly it goes converting an existing channel using direct publisher.  I have several thousand subscribers, and I don't want to lose them.  My graphics and some content are being served from Amazon S3, and most of the video feeds are links from our YouTube channel.  Do we have to update any of the links or the existing code and authorization keys that pull from Amazon?  Is it just click to convert, and all is well, or do we have to re-invent any of the wheel?

Thanks,
Ken

Re: CONVERTING EXISTING CHANNEL WITH DIRECT PUBLISHER

Hi Ken
I didn't think you could get youtube to work with direct publishing?
I tried directly and that didn't work. Then I tried feedburner - and it went a bit further - but alas no.
Do you have info that it can work? And how?
I prefer to not have movies in 2 places.
Thanks
Colin

Re: CONVERTING EXISTING CHANNEL WITH DIRECT PUBLISHER

I haven't yet tried to get YouTube to work with direct publishing, but it worries me now that you've mentioned it.  So, I have no info to pass along yet, but I will post it when I have a chance to test it.  Do you know if it's possible to speak to a live person who can work with ROKU developers?  I can't get anywhere with answers to my questions.

Re: CONVERTING EXISTING CHANNEL WITH DIRECT PUBLISHER

I don't think we'd get a live person 🙂
Also battling to get it to work with jw player:

and

I'd be grateful for help.
