You need, at a minimum, a Vimeo Pro account. Vimeo Basic & Plus accounts do not provide the URLs required for the Roku platform. You'll also need to make sure that you use the correct Vimeo-provided URL. Vimeo URLs like "https://vimeo.com/68444326" are not Roku-compatible. Instead you need to go to the Settings - Video Files page and use the URLs that start with "https://player.vimeo.com/external/...". This information is valid for any Roku channel, and is not specific to Instant TV Channel.
Alternatively, you can use a Vimeo Access Token along with Instant TV Channel as described here (
http://www.InstantTvChannel.com/roku/vimeo). This allows you to use a special URL in the form of "vm://12345678" to pull all of the available Vimeo bitrate renditions for a single video into your channel at the same time.
