Re: Video request failure: -5
Per the documentation, -5 means the media format is unknown or unsupported.
What StreamFormat value are you using?

Re: Video request failure: -5
The video is MP4 and is working great in other players, y also have videos with the same encoding working propertly on roku, i guess one important point is that this URL redirects to an HTTPS termporal URL, most of the files are working correctly but some are presenting this error

Re: Video request failure: -5
First, the URL you posted is a redirect, and second, it redirects to an FLV file, not an MP4 file.

Re: Video request failure: -5
The URL redirects to another location but i tested and worked with another files, the URL shows the extensión FLV but the video is H.264 PART 10 AAC Audio encoded and is supported by Roku player
this is another simple that does work fine on roku, i just can't finde whats the diference or the problem

Re: Video request failure: -5
It seems to me the difference, as you noted, would be that this one redirects to an HTTPS url. To play that, you'll need to add the certificates file to the roVideoScreen.

Re: Video request failure: -5
Why do you think that it is an MP4 file? I get an FLV file when I download it. Also the redirect has an erroneous Content-Type header that says "application/msword" as if it's a .doc file, although that wouldn't affect playback on the Roku.

Re: Video request failure: -5
I think what makes this file a MP4 is the encoding not the file extensión, am I wrong? I also have tested some files whith the same encoding in roku and everything was ok
I already added certificates and both files redirect to HTTPS, both have same encoding, same server, same protocol but one plays correcty and the other result in -5 error, i have the same situation with many videos, half plays ok in roku and the other half doesn't work,
the https URLs paramters are encrypted, could diference in the resulted encryption produce this faul?

Re: Video request failure: -5
Correct, the filename extension is irrelevant. What I'm saying is I downloaded the file and looked at the encoding, and it's FLV. You may want to try that.
As TheEndless mentioned, if you're downloading via https, you need to set the certificate file in your video player. If you're already doing that, the FLV format is probably the issue.
