Roku Developer Program

Hello guys

I am new bie to Roku Dvelopment, i have few simple questions.

1. Do i have to buy Roku Device even while doing development, or is there any desktop simulator? Unable to find any desktop simulator.
2. Dose it supports RTMP streaming!?

1 Yes you'll need any model of roku - simply due to it requiring your end product to be signed/packaged by the device itself.
2 No, for RTMP you will need some kind of transcoder solution like wowza, vlc, ffmpeg, etc
