Major Bug - ECP Deepdive broken w/503 on install & launch after reboot
1) install the private channel on a Roku TV (we've tried 6 of them, different brands) via ECP
http://' + host + ':8060/' + 'install/561150'
2) disconnect the roku from its power (if u turn it off and on it won’t do this, unless it is disconnected) OR leave the TV to turn off by itself overnight.
3) plug it back in
4) broken ->
http://' + host + ':8060/' + 'launch/561150'
http://' + host + ':8060/' + 'install/561150'
- The Roku device always returns a 503 on these requests.
- Our app is never shown in the UI of the Roku list of channels
- Our app cannot be installed by the web interface.
- Any amount of reboots, system updates, the app is never shown and cannot be installed through ECP nor the web interface at Roku.com
- EVEN a FACTORY RESET doesn't work. The issue lies with the account installed on the Roku. I can take the same user, add them to a brand new ROku device and we still get 503's and no way to install our channel. Only a brand new Roku user on the device after a factory reset allows us to get responses again from the commands above.
Maybe we're doing something wrong, but we've been unable to find any kind of solution to get these 'locked out' accounts to download our channel again.
Is this a known issue, or are we doing something incorrect? It's a simple test to try on any private channel.

You are correct, it is an IP address. I could give you my 8 different local IP addresses four our Roku's in office, but it wouldn't help ya any. You'd need to add your own IP address of your local roku.
If the host were an issue, we wouldn't be able to send any commands to our roku devices, but we are, and still can after its broken, just getting back errors on only install after the steps above
