My mother just purchased a rechargeable voice remote pro. She was having issues pairing it with her Roku. I tried as well and the Roku will not find the remote. I went through the troubleshooting tips and still no luck. Roku is 4630X premier +.

could the remote be faulty?

I'm also having a pairing problem.  The remote for my Roku Premier+ stopped working, so I bought a new Roku Voice Remote Pro from Amazon. It simply will not pair.  I used the directions in the box.  My Roku device said that it could not locate a remote.  I tried multiple times.  I unplugged the device and waited, and followed the directions multiple times.  I stood right in front of the device.  We have three other Roku devices in the house, and I disconnected them all while trying to pair the new remote.  No luck.  I tried following the directions that are here with the original post.  At least that person got some use.  Mine won't pair at all.  Also, I made sure the remote was fully charged, so that's not the issue.  I'm am just about ready to send it back.  Please help.
