Has anyone found a suitbale replacement since Roku advises this, effectively, new product is out of stock with no sight of restock soon. The streaming stick is rendered useless now due to this specific USB cable with wireless remote function. Poor from Roku

I fully agree - poor form indeed.  Roku is the sole source for this essential part of the Streaming Stick Plus/4K/4K+ system.  It's not like a remote, HDMI cord, etc. where there are other options if out of stock at Roku. 

Is your purchase new enough that you can return the Stick for a new-in-the-box one?

It’s certainly an option I am looking into as it is a fairly new purchase.

So you're outside of the US? Roku only sells to US addresses.
