I updated the software and it still does NOT work. this is really causing a problem, it has been a week now. The tv brand sharp does recognize and can not adjust volume or turn off tv. please let me know a solution ASAP! Thanks.

I have updated my Roku to the latest firmware (10.0.0-build 4198-46) and I followed the steps to setup volume control on my TV and I am still unable to control the volume on my TV with my Roku gaming remote.

Updated software and reprogrammed remote but still says seems like this Sharp TV will not work with a Roku remote.(fyi: it has for at least a year)

Why can’t we just manually enter the remote code for our tv instead of clicking next 50 times while the Roku guesses the wrong key? This is how I’ve programmed every other universal remote for the last 25 years.
