I'm trying to connect my onn Roku TV to my Sony BDP-S6700 remote RMT-VB200U. I don't wanna use the onn Roku remote anymore

The dvd remote will only control a Sony dvd player, if it has tv volume keys it probably only works for Sony tv's. Sorry.

Well that kinda sucks now I have to keep up with two remotes

I understand your concern where you want to use the Sony DVD player remote to with your Roku tV.

As advised by @Tivoburkee, the DVD players remote is incompatible with the Roku TV since they have different codes and set-up to control their designated devices.
