Onn Roku TV has a black screen with sound

It seems like a lot of these Roku TVs are having black screens with sounds wish I would’ve known that before I bought it I got a warranty on it and can’t find the warranty because Walmart never issued me a receipt I tried all the reset nothing’s working

    amandasimmons​   Unfortunately, the Onn brand is not known for their durability as they tend to use cheaper components in their TV.  You would need to reach out to Onn support directly.  See link

    Hopefully Onn will help you get support.  They should be able to help you based on your TV's serial number for warranty support even without a receipt.  You should also be able to contact Walmart to get a copy of the receipt, depending on how you ordered/paid for the TV.

    In almost all cases, a black screen (any flat screen TV, not just models with the Roku OS) means the backlight has failed. LCD TVs have some sort of light source behind the LCD panel, sometimes LEDs and sometimes a fluorescent light. They are not considered user-replaceable. Usually the warranty on most consumer electronic devices is one year. Onn would be the responsible party for repairing/replacing your TV. 

    If it is a failed backlight, you can probably look very closely at the TV and see a faint image if the panel itself is still working.
