The * button on my Roku remote has stopped working which means I can no longer delete or move channels in the home screen.
Can someone help me with this issue?
Let's get a clarification.
When the "* for options" message at the top is greyed out, it won't work. Is that the situation? Is that greyed out?
Or is it active, but pressing the button simply doesn't work?
One's a software issue, and the other is a hardware issue. So this is kinda important to clarify the situation.

I noticed this when I downloaded "Mirror My Mac". Not sure if it has anything to do with it but I thought to mention it
You can install the official Roku Remote mobile app from the Play or Apple stores to your phone or mobile device and then use that as a remote. Will give you the ability to use the * button again.

Yes I have already done that but I find it more convenient using my Roku remote and hoping to resolve the situation with my remote
