The asterisk (*) button option will not display on any channel tile app located in the 1st position
Roku Express 4K+ / 3941X2 / Software Version: 14.1 build 4.7709-E4 / Last updated 1/8/25 / Last checked 1/9/25. When any channel tile app is in the 1st row (top left) position the asterisk * button option will disappear. I have 11 channel tile apps and when any channel tile app is in the top left 1st row the * button option will disappear. I have restarted and factory reset the device several times however the issue still persists. The loss of the * button option does not affect the performance of the device it just seems odd that any channel tile app located in top left channel tile app position is the only position that is affected with the * button option not displaying properly.

I've seen this myself and others have reported the same thing. I can't remember exactly what it took to get rid of it, but start with a "System restart" and/or "Software update" located under Settings->System (or possibly Settings->System->Power in the case of "System restart").

Thanks for your replay however I have performed a "System restart, Software update, and Factory reset" many times. The issue is persistent.

So, renojim in the technical aspect your "Community Streaming Expert" badge is not a job status, and as you state, "I am not a Roku employee" and therefore you cannot provide any helpful information or real solutions associated with the disappearance of the (* for options) button that is not being displayed on the Home page 1st position top left channel tile app. Yes, this is true we have been through this before and you knowing this have no real reason to replay to my question. Roku makes changes to my device as needed when they choose to do so. Perhaps I need to contact Roku agents directly for this issue. I have performed ALL of the recommended troubleshooting steps many times however the issue still persists. It is only a personal preference to have each individual channel tile apps to display the * for options button. What is the point for having this option when it does not display properly. Your "Haven't we been through this before?" replay to my question is immaterial.
