The rc41 remote is remote that was came with 3500 purple stick, a very old roku model, it isn't the remote that no compatible its the stick itself. And yes its amazon who choses what roku devices work with their app. Get ready for more of the same going forward as your roku gets even older, with roku's on sale upgrade now.
