Jump to solution

Roku device does not stop highlighting channels, selections but continuously moves through all .  On any channel.  How do I fix this so it only chooses the program I want?

Hi @bahasara,

A warm welcome to the Roku Community!

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We would be more than happy to assist you with this. You can try to do a system restart by navigating to Settings > System > System Restart. After the device has rebooted, re-pair your Roku remote by pressing and holding the pairing button in the battery compartment for 20 seconds and pressing and holding again for 5 seconds when the green light starts flashing.

For further reference, you can visit our support page here.

Please let us know how it works, and we'll continue assisting you from there.

Best regards,

Chel

Hi @Inc0gn8oh,

A warm welcome to the Roku Community!

Thanks for letting us know about this behavior you've experienced. We want to help. We recommend performing a system restart by navigating to restart your device from Settings > System > Power > System Restart (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step).

Let us know how this works.

All the best,

Both of my Roku's started doing this a day before the Amazon Prime Sale. Roku also had a sale during Prime day. Planned obsolescence, if you ask me....

A work around is to use the roku app if you have a smart device.
