Roku Ultra suddenly changing volume when pressing down button

So unit worked fine until recently. Updated, reset, unplugged and nothing worked. When I press down button  on the remote it now changes tv volume. It keeps locking up. It will also play the music when it is first turned on at random times. Bad unit or what am I missing?

Re: Roku Ultra suddenly changing volume when pressing down button

Hello @Birddog,

Thanks for letting us know about the issue you're experiencing.

Have you tried going to setting and try to check this:

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote
  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select Remotes & devices
  4. Select Remote
  5. Choose your Roku remote from the list and select Set up remote for TV control.

After you choose your Roku remote on that setting you can System Restart your Roku Device:

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote
  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select System
  4. Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.
  5. Select System restart

Hope it can help! For any clarifications, just keep us posted!

Best Regards

Anj

Didn’t work. How to set a shortcut continues to come up also. Changing tv still has same issues.
