My voice remote recently stopped working with streaming stick, after a few years of being functional. I have replaced the batteries in the remote, reset my streaming stick by unplugging it for more than 10 seconds and then finally factory reset it. I have also tried to have the remote enter pairing mode again. The light on the remote remains solid green no matter how long I press the pairing button or remove and replace the batteries again. Not sure what else there is left to try at this point.

@a2hanford, does the stick use the USB cable with the Wi-Fi receiver embedded in it? If so, those can fail and the remote will no longer work. Does the correct time appear in the upper right corner of the screen or does it say, "Not connected"? If the latter, that would be another indication that the Wi-Fi receiver has failed.
It was connected and I was able to use my mobile app as a remote until I did a network reset.
That does sound like the remote has died. Supposedly pressing and holding the Home and Back buttons (the two buttons next to each other at the top of the remote) for 10 seconds resets the remote, but I don't know if it's any different than taking the batteries out.
