Hi Carly,
The button started to give problems about a year ago, Needing more and more pressure for the right arrow button to work, then about 3 or 4 weeks ago or stopped working altogether.

Hi,
I purchased (in the UK) a new RC-GZ1/RCA1EU Roku Voice Remote with TV controls to replace my standard one. Only a couple of months after purchase, the right arrow button has stopped working. It takes 4 or 5 hard presses with two hands to get it to function. I have tried all the other suggested fixes such as resetting and repairing etc. and it will not work properly
I notice online that this is a common problem. It seems it is a design or manufacturing defect.
How do I complain and get a free replacement? Thanks.
my remote on my 4kPlus the right arrow button does not want to work properly. and the remote eats batteries like crazy. and they wont replace said remote. they just tell me to repair or buy a new remote which I did but only a few functions work with the new remote I purchased. my Roku is attached to a Samsung tv. older model not a smart tv. Roku does not stand behind their products. The only reason I bought a Roku is because of my cable company required it for a certain service. guess i"ll go back to my firesticks. Have no problem with them.
forget about getting a replacement from Roku they don't stand behind their products. they just tell you to purchase another remote. which I did but all the features don't work you still have to have the original remote to turn off the TV.
