The Roku remote (voice IR model) used to switch the tv input to Netflix when the dedicated button at the bottom of the remote was pushed. This button and other dedicated buttons no longer do this. I have to manually switch inputs on the tv using a different remote. I tried resetting the Roku and the remote, changing batteries, but nothing worked. Any ideas?
Make sure: Settings > System > Select Control other devices > 1-touch play
is still checked (enabled)
If it wasn't, that will probably make it work again. If it was already checked/still not working, look in your TV settings for something like "refresh the HDMI-CEC" network. Unfortunately, most TV makers come up with their own names for "HDMI-CEC" like "AnyNet" or "Bravia Sync".
Remote keys do quit working after prolonged use, they can lose conductivity and not make a circuit. Even $400 universal remotes have this problem. Replace the remote.
