I noticed recently that when I'm on Hulu and scrolling through the shows it jumps through multiple shows. I will only hit the button once and it will jump 2 to 3 shows down instead of 1. Idk what's going with it. Idk if it's Roku or Hulu but I have checked for any updates and it says there isn't any updates. It's been going on for the past few days.
You may just need to restart your Roku after receiving an update to your Roku software. [Note: If you have a Roku TV with "Fast TV Start" enabled, turning it off/on puts it in/out of a standby mode but does not give you a full restart.]
Depending on your Roku model you'll find the "System restart" option under "Settings > System > Power" or if you don't have a "Power" option, under "Settings > System".
If a restart doesn't do it, or if you don't have sufficient control with the remote to navigate the Roku menus, you can also restart by pulling the power plug to the Roku for a few seconds then plugging it back in and waiting for it to restart.

This worked for me, just a manual restart. Also started about a week ago, and seemed to be getting worse. It was only on the Hulu app, system and every other app was fine.
