I'd suggest you get a replacement remote. A quick search turned up many. Some under $10.

If you have an Android or iOS device that can connect to your home network, you can use Roku's free official Mobile App to control any Roku connected to the same network. Install from Google Play or Apple App Store.

I'd still suggest getting a physical remote, if only as a backup. The app can only communicate with Rokus already connected to your net. If you lose your net connection and need to set it up again, you can't do this from the app and you'll need a physical remote. Note that Roku TVs use a different set of infrared (IR) commands than separate Roku devices do. Make sure you get a remote for or compatible with Roku TVs.
