I have the same issue with the volume control as identified in this blog.  The volume of 100 is noted in the upper right hand corner and volume control buttons on device doesn't work.  Can I email you the details you need?

We would be happy to look further into this issue.

Can you please provide us the following information:
-Roku device model
-serial number
-device ID
-software OS/version
(these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
-does this issue occur on a specific channel? if so, what channel and what version/build is the channel (this can be found be selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button)
-tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times)
-steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing

-screenshot of what you are seeing on screen

Once we have this information, we will be able to pass it along to the appropriate Roku team to investigate further.

we are unable to control volume it is stuck at 100 and will not go up or down we have a Toshiba TV and are using the Roku remote that came with box. 

We have a a Roku 4660x Roku Ultra

we have tried resetting and repairing remote multiple times  This happens on multiple apps not just one channel  we will try to tract error.

I went to control settings and repaired my remote to the tv. Open the battery compartment and held the sync button.
