No one at Roku cares about the problem of my Roku Voice control remote not holding a charge.
Best solution is to boycott Roku, tell everyone you know not to purchase Roku products as they are inferior streaming devices.
How about Roku taking responsibility for their defective product?
Hi @Buster1741,
Thanks for taking your first post in the Roku Community!
We're sorry for any inconvenience that may have caused you. That's not what we aim for. We'd like to gather more information about the issue you're running into. How long does your battery last? Do you use your remote's private listening features? This may be one factor in the battery drain. Are you seeing an indicator on your screen, or is the remote simply dead?
Please be aware that if you have multiple remotes connected to the same device, the battery indicator on the screen will most likely be that of the originally paired remote and not of the new Voice Remote Pro.
With more information, we will be able to assist you further.
All the best,
Chel

That is not true at all. The Roku detects which remote you are currently using when you have more than one remote paired to your device. This is obvious when you go to the remote settings, whichever remote you are pressing buttons on has a checkmark next to it on the list and it's battery level is the one that pops up on the screen.
Also the battery level indicator that pops up is a complete annoyance and pops up all the time even when batteries are more than 50% or even 80% full, I've gotten this over and over again. The software in these remotes is flawed because the battery level malfunctions. I've suggested this dozes of times, add an option to disable the battery indicator pop up in the remote settings. But Roku won't listen.
Why won't you do this Roku? Do you like annoying your customers with malfunctioning battery pop ups?
We don't need a message from Roku on the TV screen to tell us when to change our batteries. We can figure out when they are no good when pressing buttons no longer works!
GET RID OF THIS ANNOYANCE once and for all!
