I have a roku tv, i lost the original remote while moving. I bought a remote off amazon but it won't pair. What should i do.

You can link to the remote from amazon? A remote that says it works with roku doesn't have mean it works with roku tv's. Stand Alone Roku consoles use a completely different IR code set then roku tv's do.

This is the remote that you'll need for a Roku TV: https://www.roku.com/products/accessories/roku-tv

It's available from Roku (well, it's out of stock, so there's a wait), Walmart (in stock), and other places. You'll need to get that one, or the Enhanced Voice Remote https://www.roku.com/products/accessories/player

That one's $10 more, and is available from Roku, Best Buy, Walmart, and other places.
