I have the same exact issue where the right directional arrow barely works at all. You have to press really hard and sometimes it doesn't work at all. It started doing this a few weeks after I purchased it. Extremely frustrating.

Hi, @Bnjguy.
Thanks for the added information. In this case, I will coordinate this with our Support team for additional reinforcement. I will then contact you via PM to gather the necessary details needed.
In the meantime, you may install the Roku mobile app as an alternative to your physical remote. This app is a free application for iOS® and Android™ devices that turns your mobile device into a control center for your Roku streaming player or Roku TV™ system. The Remote feature of the mobile app allows you to use your phone or tablet as a Roku remote.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Best regards,
Carly
Hello @RokuCarly @HelloEveryone I have started this thread way around 9 months ago. Till this date Roku never replaced my two faulty remotes in spite of several follow ups on this thread . Every time they keep saying they will ship one , but never do.Meanwhile I am fed up have switched to Apple streaming device. I will complain this to Uk consumer electronics group. Please share if you are having similar experience .
Same here.
@HPDeskjet @Roku is wasting your time . They never replace faulty remotes. I have two remotes with same problems . They are selling faulty remotes on top of it wasting our time on this thread. I have waited 8 months .A faulty device within warranty, Roku is just playing
I received a phone call yesterday from their support. They said due to inventory and logistics issues, they have been delayed in sending out replacement remotes. They said that the issues have been resolved and will be sending out replacements in the next 5-7 days. Fingers crossed 🤞.
LOL NOthing to do with Right button - nothing changed. And how can you go to "remote" when that requires the non-functioning right arrow?
It is infuriating that after years of complaints on this issue Roku acts as if they suddenly found out. If you have buttons that have progressively gotten worse, no electronic solution will work (resetting, pushing various combinations, etc) because the problem is not electronic. A design flaw allows gunk to build up on the board (mine was "gooey") until buttons won't click. Pitiful engineering.
To fix (it's on Youtube) take out batteries, pry off cover and wash the metal part (I used an old toothbrush) using dish-washing soap (mild). The first 2 times this happened I called and the foreign folks repeated the same instructions - turn off this, push that, wait, push, hold, etc This is beyond absurd.
