Yes! A new remote with new batteries solved our issue.

I’m having the same issue. Changed batteries in the remote and restarted the tv several times and it’s still randomly scrolling in all directions.

Can someone help me?

My roku just suddenly won’t stop scrolling.

It’s like the Casino slot machines.

It was still working fine yesterday, then when I used it now this happened.

whenever i point the remote towards the roku box it scrolls nonstop, but when i point it away the scrolling stops.

@3nair, there's a stuck button on your remote.  Point it at your phone's camera.  If you see a constant flashing light coming from the remote start fiddling with the buttons until you get it to stop.

@renojim all the button seems to be working fine.

when the remote is pointed towards me (the front of the remote away from the box) the scrolling stops, but when i point it again the scrolling continues

Did you try the camera trick?  Obviously it's the remote if you point it away and the scrolling stops.
