Hi Danny,
I've been experiencing the same issues note here: unusually fast battery drain in the remote. A set of AAA's batteries only last about 2 weeks.
I have a 3810RW, SN YH004P843854.
Thanks for your help.
Mark
Same boat here. It did not do this before …
my serial number is YH009P664522 model: 3810x
Device IS powered through wall outlet. What does this have to do with battery problems in the remote?
I have been reading the blogs here and have yet to see a repair for the device battery usage what is the problem?
My replacement remote model is RC461.
Roku needs to refund me at least 50$ of batteries that I went through already! I just now gone through a pack of 20 batteries which I bought in mid Nov! It's just the beginning of Dec!
I'm also experiencing this same issue and no update nor alteration on power source has resolved this issue.
Hello @RokuDanny-R
I too have the ongoing 3810X remote battery drainage problem. SN is YHOO5T293661. Any help you can provide would be really appreciated.
Mike
Thanks for the post.
Please be aware that using the remote Private Listening feature on your remote will use considerably more battery power than without using that feature.
Thanks,
Danny
Hi everyone,
Thanks for the posts.
If you haven't already, please provide the serial number of your Roku device from Settings>System>About? I'll be able to assist you further from there.
Thanks,
Danny
