This is an update to my previous post several weeks ago: I finally got frustrated with the lack of response through this forum and simply opened a chat session with ROKU customer support. I had a new remote within a week! The new one works very well too.
I suggest that those of you who are still having issues do the same.
@jmjohn12could you point us to the customer support chat? I am not seeing it.

I bought a Roku Express 4k+ streaming stick on August 11, 2023. My experience has been the same as many in this thread, the right arrow on my remote has stopped working over the last few months.
I got absolutely no joy from Roku - bought the stick Aug 23 and another remote in Dec 23 - that stopped working 2 months later. Roku palmed me off. Told to use the app on my phone. I never got a real solution, replacement - or any form of help from Roku. Useless remote, company and customer service. Bought a Google streaming stick and wont look back.
