hi all,
i recently came across a factory defaulted Roku 3600X but no remote. i cannot add it to my Roku Mobile App v8.4.0.1099531 on Android 7.1.1 without knowing the IP address, but i cannot assign an IP address (DHCP or Static) without first pairing a remote to it, to connect it to the same Wi-Fi network as the Mobile App.
the 3600X powers on without issue and progresses to the "Select Language" screen, before "Pair your Remote" automatically pops up. i have a Roku remote from a TCL tv, but it is an IR remote that doesn't require pairing so based off what i've researched so far, that remote is not compatible.
any ideas?
