My sister's kids lost the remote that came with this TV.

Bought two different after market ones cheap on Amazon. But they've both been terrible. Buttons aren't really that responsive. It can be a struggle to even use it.

Is there a certain type of specific model of Roku remote that I can get that would work great with a TCL tv?

Go to Best buy get the Insignia ns-rmt5D21:

Works great with Roku tv's using code 4398.

Roku TVs also can use either of the two Roku Voice Remotes.  These connect via WiFi so they don't need to be pointed directly at the TV.

Do NOT get the "Roku Simple Remote" -- it controls Roku DEVICES, not Roku TVs.
