Adding number buttons to remote app

I was curious as to whether or not adding number buttons to the Roku remote app had been considered. Having the app function more like a conventional remote would give users the ability to better navigate their over the air channels. With so many sub-channels now available over the air, it can be difficult to navigate with the standard Roku remote. If users had the option to use a more conventional remote with the Roku remote app, I believe their experience would be enhanced and would result in more satisfied users.

As of now only Roku tv's respond to number keys. No, non-tv Roku do. And on Roku tv's it only works on the antenna input or Live tv tile. No name brand channels like xfinity, spectrum or pluto tv and such. If you have Roku tv and want a cheap remote with access to numeral keypad try the Onn 6 universal remote from Walmart, $11.88:
