Unknown trying to use my Roku at hotel

Jump to solution

I connected my Roku recently while at a hotel. Someone keeps trying to access my Roku. It will switch to Airplay or YouTube (with adult contact). What can I do to stop this?

Not uncommon when sharing public wifi connection like at a hotel.  Most likely trying to cast/mirror to your Roku device.  Try Settings..System..Screen Mirroring..Screen Mirroring Mode.. set to Never Allow.

Also check under under Settings..System..Screen Mirroring..Screen Mirroring Devices that no devices are currently allowed.  If you see one listed, just remove it.
