I guess they’re not making enough money from the subscription fees, so they need the ad revenue.
I’ve tried streaming paramount plus on my Roku devices, but all get us a spinning wheel when I try to watch a movie. I’ve restarted my Roku, uninstalled the app and reinstalled it,checked that the software for both are up to date, and still haven’t been able to get it to work.
Wonder what happens to those people who pay for no commercials.

No. It is MY network connection, MY bandwidth and I am PAYING for the service. I think a better option is for people to cancel Paramount+. If I want to block adverts because many sites are intrusive and can cause other issues, then I will. I WILL NOT compromise the safety of my network because some company continues to chase a buck. There are ways to insert commercials into programming WITHOUT having to use adservers (i.e. Paramount can host their own). They also could allow whitelist of A SPECIFIC site not everything.
Honestly we cannot keep accepting this type of intrusion. It is not acceptable.
We need more people to just cancel Paramount+. It is unacceptable and a security risk. Customers should not have to compromise the integrity of their home networks to use a service they PAY for. This really should be illegal. Would you accept as a condition to watch TV some random person demanding entry to your home to show you random products to buy? This is really what is happening.
Same issue here, but I'm using the 4k stick. Paramount+ loads, menus work, but when I select any title of any item, nothing but the spinning white circle endlessly...
I've also tried all solutions mentioned on the interwebs. Restart, reset, clear cache, cut power, etc. etc. literally every cut and paste answer on Google - no luck. Absulotely ridiculous that this happens so frequently with only one certain app - Paramount+.
Not sure what the issue is with the 4k stick. Mine was with a 65" TCL Roku TV. Paramount+ was the only app that had an issue. All other apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Peacock, Disney+, Hulu, Max Apple TV all worked flawlessly. Even Paramount+ customer service after trying numerous solutions that didn't work were at a loss to what was causing it. As a last ditch effort I unplugged the TV from the wall and let it sit for 5 or 6 minutes. I plugged it back in and after a few minutes of the TV resetting Paramount+ began to work and has worked ever since. I have fiber internet that runs at around 300 Mbps. so that wasn't the issue. There must be some glitch deep in the Paramount+ program that's causing the problem and I don't think they even know how to resolve it yet.
I have no issues on an Ultra 4800 and Express 4K+. I also have the ad-free version, and subscribe directly with Paramount+.
