We notice you are concerned about the blue light staying on for several minutes after turning off. We'd be happy to look into this for you.
After turning off the Roku, if it is connected directly to a power source, the device will only go to standby mode. Since it will continue to receive electricity, it may cause the blue light to stay on for a few minutes. If you don't want the light from your Roku to remain on after turning off the TV, you can connect your Roku to the USB port on your TV. When the TV is turned off, it will cut off power to the USB port, which will also turn off the light on the Roku device. This way, the Roku will only receive power when the TV is on, keeping the light from staying on when the TV is off.
Note: The USB port on some TVs may be unable to power a Roku streaming player.
We hope this information helps. Let us know if you need further assistance.
All the best,

Try unplugging the power (the USB cable) for a few seconds and then plug it back it. Do you see the Roku startup animation on your TV?
I’m having this same issue. I unplugged for 30 seconds and then the Roku logo flashes for a few seconds and then it goes off. I turn off the tv and the blue light stay solid.i hit reset nothing happens.
@Queend47, if you're using the TV's USB port for power, try a USB power adapter plugged into the wall.
It is plugged into the wall
@Queend47, do you have another one you can try from a phone or tablet? The only other thing to try is a factory reset.

If you don't want the solid blue light on just enable screen saver and enable the 20 minutes allowed under power settings. This will let the blue light go off or you may have a bad roku.
I have Roku Express + 4K.
After watching a program on Roku, go all the way back to Home.
Exit Roku and watch TV or turn everything off.
Blue light stays on about 15-20 minutes then it turns itself off.
Or as suggested by others. Put black tape over blue light.
