I have two Ultra devices, and I would like to control them from mobile devices. I have installed the app on two Android devices and two iPhones. They all work and can find the devices EXCEPT for my wife's iPhone 15.
It's a relatively new phone. The Roku app was just installed fresh. I have checked to make sure the app is signed into the correct account and is on the same wifi as all of the other devices. On this iPhone, I can go into account information and see what devices are associated with the account, and they're both listed.
But when I try to use the remote feature in the app, it is unable to find any Roku devices on the network.
What else can I check to see why this one iPhone can't find any of the devices?
Welcome, and thanks for posting here in the Roku Community, @theosib!
We understand that the Roku Mobile app from your iPhone 15 won't find any devices to connect. No worries; we're here to help.
Have you checked if your iPhone and TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi? Also, please try removing the app, rebooting your phone, and then reinstalling the app to see if that resolves the issue.
Please let us know if that works for you.
All the best,
Emman
Hi, Emman,
I have already tried all of your suggestions. To begin with, this was a fresh install of the Roku App, so reinstalling it is unlikely to make a difference unless there's some chance that a fresh install on a relatively new iPhone can go awry. We did of course try rebooting, and as I mentioned in my original post, I did make sure everything was on the same wifi.
Thanks
