how can i cancel my old roku with an inactive email

My ex left me his tv and it still has his email on my account supscriptions and i don’t know how to end them to create new ones under my email. i don’t know his password to his roku and i don’t want to pay for two

We understand your inquiry about removing the old owner's email address. We are pleased to assist you.

The only way to remove an email address to which you don't have access is to perform a factory reset by navigating these:

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote.
  2. Scroll and select Settings.
  3. Select System.
  4. Select Advanced System Settings.
  5. Select Factory reset.
  6. If you have a Roku TV, select "Factory reset everything." Otherwise, proceed to the next step.
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions.
