Hi @BobKY,
Welcome, and thanks for posting here in the Roku Community!
Would you mind giving us more details on the issue that you've been experiencing? When did the issue occur? Do you have any external devices connected to the back of your TV? What Roku device are you using right now? (e.g., Roku Express, Roku Streambar, Roku TV—specify TV)
With more detailed information, we'll be able to assist you further.
All the best,
Chel
pressing the * 4 times has eliminated most of the voice over except for the volume .
Every time I raise or lower the volume it interrupts the dialogue on the tv to tell me what the volume is.
i can read it on the side of the screen, but I don't need the audio to tell me what it is.
How do I eliminate that robotic voice that announces the volume level?
The robotic voice interrupts the program to tell me what the volume is. I can read it on the screen. I don't want the robotic voice interrupting the program. how do i remove that?
@marlee1, it's most likely your TV doing that. Using its remote, look in your TV's Accessibility settings.
TV is an ONN Roku tv, hooked up via hdmi cable to Onn soundbar. Hooked up per soundbar instructions with HDMI cable. I use the Roku TV remote only, not the soundbar remote. Any suggestions appreciated.
