Zap / Change to Haystack Local & World News using Google assistant.

Jump to solution

Hi I cannot launch Haystack using the “launch The Roku Channel on office Roku" type of sequence. Is there a trick because of Haystack difficulty of Naming?  Results fail or open a web search.

Thank you for your help.

Your Roku 3500 was released back in 2014. It’s about 8 years old now and most likely doesn’t support the Google commands your asking for.

Ok thought I give it a try, it is not as clear as supported devices for Apple tv for example. The firmware version is high enough. Thank you.

Can you elaborate on what Roku device you are using? Are you trying to say when you say “Hey Google launch Haystack “ it doesn’t work? That’s not really a Roku issue.
