I saw there were alot of questions on the Roku device with a blue blinking light that wasn't connecting to the TV. I found that the problem was the USB connector sent with the cord was the malfunction; I replaced this part and and the device worked like it ws suppose to.
I was just about to send mine back for a refund (not setting up and blinking blue light) when I discovered that the HDMI connection was not fully home - when it was forced in further the unit started up.
