I need a solution for late night watching that DOES NOT require headphones. I saw the most recent Ultra now supports bluetooth. It mentions headsets/headphones but does not clearly mention speakers.
Can anyone with the latest Roku Ultra confirm that bluetooth speakers will work with it? I'd like to pair it with a Jabra bluetooth speaker so my wife can keep the speaker close to her pillow in the bedroom vs blasting the tv in the bedroom late night. If it does work with bt speakers I would gladly upgrade our units.

Hey, @Howzit. It's great to have you here!
We understand that you want to get the Roku Ultra connected to the Jabra speakers, and we're here to help.
At this time, we can't connect a Bluetooth speaker directly to the Roku Ultra. However, we recommend using the headphones mode instead. This allows you to connect your speakers to your phone or tablet and use the headphones mode feature available in the Roku Mobile App.
Here's a link for more tips!

Re: Latest Roku Ultra bluetooth question
Thanks Emmanuel-D. I understand what you are saying but that might be a little too complicated for my wife, and im trying to remove myself from having set it up each and every time. Thanks though, I may need to find another solution.

Thanks for the follow-up, @Howzit!
We understand your point. However, this is the only option we have at the moment. If you find other workarounds, please share them here; we'd be happy to hear about them.
Thanks again,
