Re: Unable to unpair my headset from my Roku TV

Hi @Rick1961,

Welcome to the Roku Community!

Thanks for letting us know about this issue you had with the Roku TV since you can't unpair the headset. No worries; help is here.

You can disconnect your Bluetooth headphones in the Settings menu while playing content or simply power them off.

Use the following steps to disconnect your headphones in the Settings menu:

  1. Press the Home button on your Roku remote.
  2. Scroll and select Settings.
  3. Select Remotes & Devices.
  4. Select your headphones.
  5. Select Disconnect.

If you are already playing content on your streaming device, use these instructions instead:

  1. Press the Star button on your Roku remote.
  2. Scroll and select Wireless headphones.
  3. Select your headphones.
  4. Select disconnect.

You may also want to check out this support article on using Bluetooth headphones for Headphone Mode on your Roku streaming device.

We hope you'll find this information useful. Please keep us posted if there's anything else we can do to assist you.

Best regards,
